1.  What should I do if my CU Link is lost?

You should immediately report lost in the CU Link Self-Service System (https://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/CULINK-SelfService/Enquiry.aspx) or report to the CU Link Card Centre [MAP] during opening hours. If you confirm your CU Link is lost, you should visit CU Link Card Centre in person for card replacement. The replacement fee is $130. Please note that all the tokens stored in the damaged CU Link are neither refundable nor transferable.

2. How should I reactivate my CU Link if I find it after reporting as lost?

You should bring your CU Link card to CU Link Card Centre [MAP] in person during opening hours for reactivating the card without fee.

3. What should I do if my CU Link is damaged?

You should come to the CU Link Card Centre [MAP] for card replacement. Damaged CU Link cards will be replaced free of charge if they are caused by natural wear and tear to an extent that authentication fails. You, however, have to pay $130 for a card replacement if the damage is caused by negligent handling, improper use etc. Please bring your damaged card in person to CU Link Card Centre for replacement.

Please also note that all the tokens stored in the damaged CU Link are neither refundable nor transferrable.

4. Do I need to pay if official replacement of CU Link is needed during card upgrading exercise?

As a student or staff, you do not need to pay for the first and all subsequent renewal.
