Mifare Plus is the replacement of the well known contactless chip Mifare Classic, which was introduced to CUHK in2009. Mifare Plus provides backward compatible and stronger encryption method. It is optimal for applications development catering for instant and convenient scenarios.

MULTOS (MULTi-application Operation System)

MULTOS was introduced in 1999. It was the same contact chip technology selected by the HKSAR Government in the smart ID Card project. It is a highly secure platform for smart cards. As all hostel payment solution adopted to Octopus. MULTOS is being decommissioned by end of 2018.
